KB Photography

Founded back in 1981, K&B Photography is now located in Albuquerque, NM. The original founder, George Kalev, traveled the world gathering pictures from famous and often remote locations to add to this unique collection. Being fluent in several languages, he felt very comfortable in seeking new images that he knew were award-winning. I, Don Buehler, later joined him as a business partner and avid photographer who started out with his own darkroom at the age of 10. Recently George succumbed to cancer so I have continued on with the tradition and expertise that George taught me over the years. Both George and I bring over 50 years of photographic experience in creating photographs for others to enjoy.

I use medium format (2 1/4" x 2 1/2 ") and large format (4" x 5") cameras with the latest fine grain films available. Prints are made using Kodak, Fuji, and Agfa papers that will insure long lasting images. No Photoshop or digital trickery used here, just creative darkroom techniques.
